This component of the course encourages students to take responsibility for their own health and take constructive action for personal health and the health of others. Students will study Hauora/Wellbeing, Food and Nutrition, Drug Education and Sexuality.
This component of the course allows students to maintain and enhance their personal health and physical development. They will develop motor skills in Aquatics, Athletics, Badminton, Touch, Softball, Cricket and a sport of their choice. They will develop and enhance their personal interactions, as well as participate in developing healthy communities.
