Entry RequirementsTeacher recommendation based on Year 10 results. This course is primarily for students who require a strong literacy focus in their pathway to NCEA.
This course develops communication skills in English as well as improving skills in thinking, using language, managing self, relating to others and participating and contributing. Students will study and produce a range of written, oral and visual texts in order to achieve both unit and achievement standards. These will be selected from the list provided, based on students' needs and interests.
