Year 12 Health

This course engages students in investigating contemporary health issues for youth. Students will research discuss, and evaluate current issues such as gender and sexuality, building resilience in challenging environments and explore a selected issue affecting youth for the external exam. The focus will be on developing strategies to improve well-being. Students will also work in groups to develop and implement an action plan designed to improve well-being in our school community. 

                                                                

                                      



Pathway

Level 3 Health

Careers related to health sciences, community based roles and any roles where working productively with people is important will be enhanced by studying Health at level 3.

Entry Requirements

Students who have not previously studied Health may be admitted at the discretion of the HOD. A high level of literacy is required.
