This course provides additional skills and knowledge in Biology and the development of scientific thinking. There will be a focus on relevance of science understanding and investigations to human health and hauora (wellbeing). Students can comfortably do 12BIO without doing this course however, it would be helpful. The course will be assessed with a mix of internal and external achievement standards. 



Entry Requirements

The majority of Year 10 Science grades must be at or above Level 5 of the curriculum.
