Level 2 Mathematics
Course Description

This course will continue to develop a broad range of mathematical skills with a focus on real world applications, statistical investigations and probability.
This course is primarily internally assessed with one external (Probability Methods) at the end of the year which allows course endorsement.
This course leads into Year 13 Statistics but does not allow access to Year 13 Calculus. Students wanting to go into mathematical fields such as Finance, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Computer Science etc. need higher level algebra and should pick 12MAA - Mathematics with Algebra.
Entry Requirements
10 credits from 11MAA or 11MAS and /or teacher recommendation.
