This course introduces students to the world of living organisms. The content includes a study of the hidden world of cells and cell processes. The main focus is on Genetics, DNA and evolutionary change. Students also carry out investigations into adaptation and ecology. The course provides a knowledge and understanding of Biology and the essential role it plays in our modern understanding of our global wellbeing. Students who plan to do 13BIO must study this course as a prerequisite.
