Course Description

This course covers a wide range of activities including
- An Abel Tasman experience: planning, implementation and evaluation of a sea kayaking expedition
- Duathlon, ki-o-rahi or volleyball: analysis of fitness, technique analysis and the implementation of a training program
- Sports Education: analysis of key skills in badminton
- Research of a contemporary New Zealand issue
- Evaluation of physical activity for lifelong well-being.

Entry Requirements
Students who have not previously studied Physical Education may be admitted at the discretion of the HOD.
Students who select 13PED may not also select 13SRE as an option.
