Course Description

Year 12 Mathematics

This course will extend and consolidate the work completed in 11MIA, 11MAT or 11MAX. The 12MAT course will provide students with the skills and knowledge required for the workplace and future pathways.  The course includes Level 2 and 3 internally assessed achievement standards. Students that are generally working at a Merit level over the year and pass the Statistics unit could gain entry into 13SMX with teacher endorsement. (The level 3 topics listed are a range the class teachers will select from, they may differ within each class depending on time available and or the ability of the class)


Entry Requirements

14 credits from 11MAT or 11MAX and /or teacher recommendation.

11MAI passed all units of work and teacher recommendations.
