Level 3 Materials Technology - Textiles
Course Description

This course follows a natural progression from 12MTT. The students will show advanced knowledge and skills based around Materials Technology and demonstrate an understanding of complex procedures to effectively develop and implement techniques and processes in a practical project creating a mockup and prototype of their conceptual design. The external standard is completed in class and is based on the work completed across the year.
Entry Requirements
Students should have completed 11MTX and/or 12MTT. Final decision is at HOD’s discretion.
Contributions and Equipment
Curriculum Contribution: $30.00 plus purchase of own fabric and notions.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
