Year 9 Materials Technology

This course gives students the opportunity to develop basic design and practical skills through the use of textiles (fabric). Students are guided through the design process in order to solve given issues. They work both independently and in groups to produce high-quality outcomes, learning the importance of accuracy, safety and time management. Students use a variety of materials to make quality take-home products.
