Course Description

The focus of this course is to develop receptive and productive skills, to reflect on the way languages function and to become more confident communicators. Students are expected to participate, contribute and express opinions, whilst exploring aspects of Japanese culture. The topics studied will be negotiated. All selected internal assessments are submitted by the end of Term 3. Reading and writing of Hiragana, Katakana and 50 prescribed Kanji are required. If a student wishes to take this course but has not studied Year 10 Japanese, please consult the HOD before the end of Term 3.
