History is the study of the past in order to understand the present. This course is about major events in history and how these have changed the world and continue to impact on us today. Skills developed include research and identifying cause and effect. Students will continue to explore different perspectives, engage with a range of sources, and develop their critical thinking and essay writing. A good level of literacy is required.
