Entry Requirements

Students must have completed 10MTT or 11MTX or at the discretion of the HOD.



This course follows a natural progression from 11MTX. This course requires students to demonstrate an advanced understanding and effectively develop and implement techniques and processes related to Materials Technology using Textiles as their material. Ä€konga will work to a brief, design an item, learn to adapt a pattern and make a mockup and prototype.  The external standard is completed in class based on the years learning. It is assessed by submitting a written report before the end of the year.
