Year 13 Physical Education
This course covers a wide range of activities including the Abel Tasman Experience: planning, implementation and evaluation of a sea kayaking expedition; Duathlon: analysis of fitness, run/bike technique and the implementation of a training programme; Sports Education: analysis of key skills in Badminton; Research of a contemporary New Zealand issue; Evaluation of physical activity for lifelong well-being. A selection of standards will be offered.
Sea kayak expedition: approx. $200.00
Students who have not previously studied Physical Education
may be admitted at the discretion of the HOD.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
