Year 13 Photography

This course develops skills and understanding in contemporary photographic practice. Students will study current practice in this field and develop a coherent body of work in response to their study. The externally assessed achievement standard will be assessed from a portfolio of work presented at the conclusion of the course.

Contributions and Equipment

Course Contribution: $45. There will also be a cost associated with portfolio postage of approximately $10.

Entry Requirements

18 credits in 12PHO. Students not meeting this requirement can ask to be admitted at the discretion of the HOD/ TIC. An interest and ability in Art is required. Students taking it without the above requirements can enrol and complete the two internals worth 8 credits if class numbers permit. Those without Level Two Photography and wanting to complete the full course including the 14 credit external portfolio must first meet to discuss with Michael Brewster.
