Course Description

Te Ao Haka provides opportunities for all ākonga to engage in Māori culture, language and traditional practice. Ākonga who engage in Te Ao Haka recognise that pride in their culture also comes with a responsibility to create a positive space for others to continue expressing themselves and developing their craft.
Entry Requirements
Have to be a member of Nga Aho Rau or have considerable kapa haka experience and be prepared to join a performance group.
Assessment Information
Selection of assessment activities will be depedent on ability and prior experience.Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
