Level 2 Accounting

This course enables students to develop their understanding of basic accounting principles, processes and systems so that they appreciate the role of accounting in business organisations. It will provide students with an increased awareness of and access to career opportunities for accounting and finance and for running a small business. The course will include a selection from the standards listed below.
Contributions and Equipment
$45 for a Workbook and a Xero (for AS2.2) Instruction Manual
It is not essential to have studied Accounting previously. However, students need to have an adequate level of literacy and numeracy with satisfactory 11MAT or 11MAX results to enter this course. However, students may be admitted at the discretion of the HOD.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
Total Credits Available: 23 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 9 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 14 credits.
Courses are based on student choice, so some courses may not run.
