The year 9 and 10 Mathematics program is based over two years. In year 10 we cover Number Level 5 and Algebra level 4 and 5, Tables and Graphs level 4 and 5 and Geometry level 5. This aims to develop a wide range of skills, providing students with an increased number of tools to problem-solve with. Students will learn how to reason, communicate logically, and discuss their findings in a safe learning environment.
Students will also have an opportunity to attempt to gain NCEA Numeracy early via the Numeracy exams in May and September.
