This course has five modules which are 50% theory/ 50% practical. They are: Hauora Activities: Rippa, Volleyball, Running and how physical activity affects well-being; How the Body Works: basic anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and how the body works in relation to exercise; Circo Arts, Street Performance and Juggling; Life’s a Beach: participation in beach activities evaluating safe behaviour; Sports Education: sport leadership roles in Korfball.

A diverse range of careers involving physical activity, both being active and supporting others to be active eg Professional Sportsperson, Physio, Recreation Manager, Physical Trainer.
Contributions and EquipmentApproximately $20 for Beach Day
Students taking this course need to have demonstrated strong performance at curriculum Level 5.
