Students taking this course need to have demonstrated strong performance at curriculum Level 5.
This course is 50% theory/50% practical. They are a range of team and individual physical activities, which may include Beach activities, Waka Ama, Korfball, Ki-o-rahi and Volleyball. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of how your body works - anatomy, exercise physiology and biomechanics. You will also develop your knowledge of our local area (camp), cultural heritage and enhance the use of interpersonal skills.
