Year 12 Mathematics and Statistics
This course will extend and consolidate the work completed in Year 11 Extension Mathematics. The 12SMX course includes three external papers (AS 2.6, AS 2.7, AS 2.12) and will allow students to develop the knowledge and understanding necessary in preparation for the 13SMX course.

Teacher recommendation and 15 credits in 11MAX including AS 1.2 (Merit or Excellence). Students in 11MAT who gained Merit in AS 1.2 and at least Achieved in all the other standards will also be considered.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
